Business Planning

Today we talked loosely about how we plan for the new year. There are several business plan templates out there and honestly it doesn't matter which one you use - AS LONG AS YOU MAKE A PLAN. Not be to cliche, but not planning is planning to fail!

Some agents focus on the money aspect and some turn their annual plan into a life/business plan laying out personal and business goals. I prefer the life planning. You have to know why you are in this professional to begin - what's you "why"? Start there. Decide what trips you want to take, what debts you want to pay off, and what personal and professional milestones you want to reach. Now that you have your WHAT items...work on your HOWS.

Lay out a plan on how you are going to reach those goals as well as how do you plan to hold yourself accountable for each HOW. Here are a few questions that both Sandi and I will have answered by next week's episode to share with everyone.

1. What do you want to achieve in 5 years professionally?

2. What do you want to achieve in 5 years personally?

3. What are your 1 year growth goals in your business?

4. What are your personal 1 year growth goals?

5. What professional milestones/goals do you want to achieve in 6 months?

6. How will I know if I am making progress?

7. What is the biggest set-back right now in my business?

8. What is really going well for my business right now?

9. What will be my 4 pillars of income next year?

a. What are 5 actions to take for each pillar of income

b. How do you plan to hold yourself accountable for these actions?

If you want help with your business plan, seriously, reach out to me and I am glad to zoom with you to talk you through it!
